Self-discovery is a journey

So, this is me. Trying to find myself. On this mystical journey, I will find out who I am inside, and no I'm not talking about organs or the interworkings of my physical being, but more about my meta-physical being, if that makes any sense at all. How I am inside should be reflected on the outside. A journey of self-discovery sounds innately selfish on many levels. Is it so selfish to want to find out who you really are? To go on a walk between souls? Is it selfish to want to be just me?

“Oh what’s the matter with me? You’d think a girl would learn. If there’s a prize for rotten judgement, I guess, I’ve already won that. No man is worth the aggravation…”

I’m feeling like this specific part of this song tonight.
